In order to thoroughly study and implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Party, and to carry forward the Party’s glorious traditions and fine styles, the Party Branch Committee of Chongqing Paishing Technology organized more than 24 party members and vanguard employees to visit the former residence of Shang Kun in Tongnan, Chongqing on November 24, 2024, and carried out the theme party day activity of "Mourning Revolutionary Heroes, Inheriting the Red Gene, and Inspiring the Power to Forge Ahead."

At the Yang An Gong Martyrs’ Cemetery, the party members delved into the revolutionary deeds of Comrade Yang An Gong and experienced the heroic spirit of the revolutionary martyrs. A brief yet solemn commemorative ceremony was held, during which flowers were offered to Comrade Yang An Gong, expressing deep remembrance and profound respect for the martyr.

Comrade Chen Youyu, the Party Branch Secretary and Trade Union Chairman, led the party members in offering flowers.

Then, the party members went to the Yang Shangkun Cemetery, where they learned about Chairman Yang Shangkun’s life and revolutionary journey. They were deeply moved by his firm ideals and beliefs, as well as his noble spirit of serving the people. Comrade Yang Shangkun’s life is a vivid portrayal of loyalty to the Party and dedication to the people, inspiring all party members to forge ahead on the journey of the new era.

Finally, the party members visited the former residences of Yang An Gong and Yang Shangkun. They listened attentively to the vivid explanations from the guides. Through historical photos and precious relics, they gained a more direct understanding of the growth environment and revolutionary journey of these two revolutionary pioneers, feeling their simple and hardworking style and firm revolutionary beliefs. At Yang An Gong’s former residence, the party members were inspired by his noble aspirations to "mourn the nation’s weakness and ponder the nation’s peril." At Yang Shangkun’s former residence, they were moved by the revolutionary love story between Yang Shangkun and his wife, Li Bozhao.

At the end of the activity, everyone expressed that they would transform the spiritual essence of this themed party day into concrete actions to promote their work, contributing to the high-quality development of the enterprise. They also expressed their firm determination to stay true to their original aspiration and keep their mission firmly in mind.

This themed party day activity has enabled the party members and vanguard employees of Chongqing Paishing to gain a deeper understanding of the great spirit of revolutionary martyrs and further enhance their party spirit.
